FC and EA have worked together for almost 30 years with great success. But this year, FC and EA ended tragically, leaving only EA to develop its own games. Many fans have wondered why the brand name was changed.

What is the difference between EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition?
US-based EA has announced that it will sell two versions. Standard and Ultimate editions. In the past, there were so-called "Champions Editions," which included Ultimate Team perks, FC Points, soundtracks, kits, and more. But this year, EA decided to release only two versions.
For those who don't know, the Standard Edition is the cheaper of the two. It's likely to cost around $79 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and around $69 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Those numbers haven't been officially confirmed, but are based on the game's prices over the past few years.

For those who don't know, EA allows for upgrades from the previous generation to the next. For example, when upgrading the PS4 software "EA FC 24 Ultimate Edition" to PS5, there is no need to pay one yen. This is the system EA introduced in FUT 23, and it could be the same this time around.
The Ultimate Edition costs around $109 not only for the next generation but also for the older model. For PC users, the price will likely be around $99. As for pre-orders, sources say gamers can pre-order EA FC 24 starting July 13. In this case, you get 7 days of early access and over 4,000 EA Sports FC points.
Additionally, Ultimate Edition buyers will have access to the game starting September 23, while Standard Edition buyers will have to wait until September 29. That said, gamers have been eagerly awaiting EA FC, and it looks like the game is sure to be a breath of fresh air this year. It'll be interesting to see how the reaction goes, and whether this is the kind of big development fans have been asking for for years.
