De FUT 19-carrièremodus staat stil. Ultimate Team krijgt elk jaar een opknapbeurt en constante aandacht gedurende het seizoen, maar EA slaagt er nooit in om de carrièremodus in welke zin dan ook te verbeteren. EA moet dit volledig afdanken en vervangen door een hands-off systeem waarin je een trainingsstijl kiest voor elke speler, op basis van hoe je wilt dat ze spelen.
